2023 Honda City facelift debuts in Thailand

The 2023 Honda City facelift was recently introduced in India, and now Thailand is the next country to welcome this upgraded sedan. It is available in two powertrain options and five variants. This includes the 1.0L Turbo V, SV, RS,  1.5L e: HEV SV and 1.5L e: HEV RS.

The new City is priced between THB 629,000 (AED 65,900.75) and THB 839,000 (87,896.51) in Thailand.

The Thai-spec model features a new bumper at both ends and a new grille at the front. The non-RS variants grille boasts a  multi-slat design, while RS models exude a honeycomb pattern. The latter models also come with a sporty lower apron, fog lamps, and skid skirts. The revised rear bumper has also been changed, with RS versions having a diffuser-like element.

The cabin does not exude any significant change from the previous-gen model. An add-on is the 4.2-inch coloured TFT LCD display.

There are two different engine options for the City facelift in Thailand - Honda’s Multi-Mode Drive powertrain comprising a 1.5-litre four-cylinder Atkinson-based naturally-aspirated engine and a 112hp/173 Nm 1.0-litre 3-cyl turbo mill. The first engine option generates 109hp/253Nm of total output.

Honda Sensing, along with a walk-away auto-lock function, is the standard safety feature available in the Thai-spec City facelift model. The two higher-end variants have also gained the low-speed follow system to its autonomous cruise control system.
