The Patrol offers two petrol V6 engines: a 3.8L V6 (VQ38) with 316 hp and 386 Nm on the XE and SE grades, and a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 (VR35) with 425 hp and 700 Nm on the LE grades and Pro-4X. Both use a 9-speed automatic.
Power ranges from 316 hp and 386 Nm on the 3.8L V6 to 425 hp and 700 Nm on the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 - strong pulling power for highway overtakes and loaded desert driving.
Every Patrol grade seats eight across three rows on a 3,075 mm wheelbase, with a 3-zone climate system on higher grades - well suited to large families and long group journeys.
Yes. It has up to 253 mm of ground clearance, approach angles up to 34 degrees on the Pro-4X, a rear differential lock and hill descent control. The Pro-4X adds all-terrain tyres, a skid plate, tow hooks and adaptive air suspension.
Higher grades add Nissan's ProPilot with lane keep assist, intelligent cruise control, blind-spot intervention, rear cross-traffic alert, predictive forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. The base XE and T2 grades use cruise control with a speed limiter instead.
Every grade carries front, side, curtain and driver-knee airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and a rear-view camera with front and rear parking sensors. Higher grades add a 3D around- view monitor with invisible hood view.
SE grades use the 3.8L V6 with 316 hp, while LE grades and the Pro-4X step up to the 3.5L twin- turbo V6 with 425 hp and 700 Nm. LE grades also add more luxury kit and, on Platinum City, adaptive air suspension and 22-inch wheels.
Adaptive air suspension is fitted to the LE Platinum City and the Pro-4X, and the LE Titanium uses an E-Damper setup. Other grades use conventional coil-spring suspension with independent double wishbones.
Top grades feature twin 14.3-inch displays, a 12-speaker Klipsch sound system, a head-up display, ventilated and massaging front seats, quilted leather and a panoramic sunroof. The base XE is simpler, with a twin 12.3-inch display, cloth seats and six speakers.
Every Patrol pairs its petrol V6 engine with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive, with paddle shifters for manual gear control across the range.
