Mitsubishi Destinator

The all-new Mitsubishi Destinator is a family-SUV with a bold three-row crossover designed for modern Middle Eastern lifestyles. Unveiled in July 2025, the Destinator blends rugged capability with refined elegance, features a striking Dynamic Shield acrylic grille, split LED daytime running lamps, finely sculpted fender flares and a commanding stance with the 18-inch alloy wheels.

Its rear design echoes Pajero heritage through the Hexaguard Horizon-inspired hexagonal motif. Inside, the spacious, premium cabin for seven seats features soft-touch surfaces, a panoramic sunroof and a monolithic 12.3-inch touchscreen accompanied by an 8-inch fully digital driver display. Multicolor ambient lighting, Yamaha-tuned sound, fold-flat tables, and ample USB-A/C ports in every row enhance comfort and connectivity. High ground clearance, wide angles, and five terrain modes ensure confident driving in UAE cityscapes and escaping into the dunes. 

Launch

The Destinator is expected in UAE showrooms by early 2026 via Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors.

Price

The Mitsubishi Destinator price in UAE is expected to start around AED 125,000 for the base trim, with higher trims going up to AED 155,000 depending on features and trim choice.

Engine & Performance

It will be powered by a 1.5 L turbocharged engine delivering 163 hp and 250 Nm of torque, mated to a smooth CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard, featuring Active Yaw Control for enhanced stability. This setup ensures lively response in city use and reliable highway cruising. 

Ride & Handling

The Destinator is equipped with MacPherson front struts and a torsion-beam rear suspension, tuned for smooth road manners. Generous 214 mm ground clearance (244 mm without the skid cover) and a robust approach/departure angle make it capable on rough terrain. Five selectable drive modes - Wet, Tarmac, Normal, Gravel and Mud, provide adaptability across UAE weather and road conditions. 

Interior & Features

The premium interior offers luxurious touches like a panoramic roof, 64-color ambient illumination, and Yamaha Dynamic Sound premium audio. Clever storage solutions include fold-flat tables, spacious cubbies, and flat-folding seat rows (40:20:40 second row and 50:50 third row). Third-row passengers enjoy dedicated air vents and USB ports. 

Safety & Driver Assistance

Equipped with Mitsubishi’s Safety Sensing suite—Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic High Beam, Blind-Spot Warning, Forward Collision Mitigation, and a 360° Multi View Monitor. Six SRS airbags support strong passive safety, while connectivity features include emergency call and remote fuel/AC status.
