Nissan Rogue

The new redesigned 2027 Nissan Rogue has launched globally and is expected to reach the UAE by 2026. This compact crossover brings a refreshed, rugged exterior with bold hexagonal LED DRLs, high-mounted matrix headlights and muscular fender arches reminiscent of the Patrol’s D-pillar stance. Inside, it introduces a premium cabin inspired by the Ariya EV, featuring dual widescreen digital displays, upscale soft‑touch surfaces, and improved ergonomics—all delivered in a five-seat layout with the potential for a three-row variant in future trims.

Launch 

It is expected to launch in the UAE by mid‑2026 through Nissan UAE as part of its global rollout.

Powertrain & Efficiency

We anticipated that the Nissan Rogue would be available in 3 powertrain options. 

• Turbo-petrol base: Likely to retain the 1.5 L turbocharged three-cylinder in standard models.

• e‑Power hybrid (EREV): Introduces Nissan’s third-generation e-Power—a series hybrid with the 1.5 L petrol engine functioning solely as a generator and an electric motor driving the wheels. It delivers an EV-like driving feel, instant torque, 202 hp total output, and approximately 4.5 L/100 km fuel consumption (WLTP).

• Future PHEV option: A plug-in hybrid variant powered by a Renault-Mitsubishi-derived system (Outlander PHEV) is expected to join the lineup.

Interior & Technology

It comes equipped with dual widescreens for infotainment and instrumentation, minimalist controls, and the latest generation of Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist, including lane-centre assist, adaptive cruise, and automatic steering intervention.

Safety & ADAS

Standard across trims, the updated Rogue includes ProPILOT Assist with Level‑2 semi-autonomous capabilities, precollision braking, blind‑spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, and 360° cameras.

Competitors

It will be competing with other compact SUVs like the 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV, Honda CR‑V, Kia EV3 and the yet-to-launch Mazda CX‑5 Hybrid.
