About Nissan UAE
Nissan is a leading Japanese automobile manufacturer with operations in various Asian, Middle East and Asia Pacific countries. It's one of the 71 car companies present in the UAE. It's one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the UAE and has a dealership network all over the country. The company has been known to provide quality vehicles to buyers in the UAE with its stellar lineup that comprises the Sunny, Altima, Kicks, Maxima, Navara, Xterra, Patrol, Pathfinder and others. The company has a presence across all segments.
Nissan’s crossovers and sedans don’t have letter designations. The company uses brand names to designate its cars. Technical specs like the engine, transmission, cylinder, and displacement numbers are used to describe the type of variant. For SUVs and midsized pickup trucks, a distinct set of characters are used. For instance, the entry-level model of the 2022 Nissan Navara doesn't have letter designations. But up the variant hierarchy, Nissan has placed three letters together to form the variant family, like the Navara CSF and the Navara ASF.
For most of Nissan's products, the entry-level and the more affordable modes are labeled with S while the mid-range upwards versions get an SL designation. Some models get special name, like the Nismo badge is used for top-level performance models. The Premium and Cargo trims are mostly applied for the Nissan Urvan.
The 2022 Nissan Micra 1.5L SV is the most affordable car from the Yokohama-headquartered company. It comes with a starting price of AED 45,450. At the other end of the spectrum, the GT-R Nismo is the most expensive Nissan car currently being sold in the UAE. It has a starting price of AED 787,809.
Nissan is committed to its goal of introducing green cars. The company launched the all-electric Leaf e+ in 2019. The car is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies like the semi-autonomous ProPILOT 2 driving system, and e-Pedal mode for single-pedal driving. The Leaf e+ comes with Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which is the company’s vision to change how cars are powered, driven and integrated into the society.
Nissan's operations in the UAE are managed by the Arabian Automobiles Company (AAC). The company was established in 1968. It's a part of the AW Rostamani conglomerate. AAC is the sole distributor of Nissan cars and genuine Nissan spare parts in Dubai and Northern Emirates. The AAC network has 11 showrooms, 13 genuine parts outlets, 10 service centers, and a certified pre-owned Nissan automobile division.
