The cabin of the 2024 Nissan X-Trail is spacious and is solidly put together. The entry-level model gets fabric seats and upholstery. The top-level model gets a leather interior. The dashboard gets soft-touch, textured plastics, and the physical switches are nicely damped. The use of scratchy, hard plastics is minimal. Materials further back are more durable than plush. But there aren't any sharp edges or exposed metalwork. The dashboard itself is logically laid out. All controls are within reach. An 8.2-inch central touchscreen (entry-level model) dominates the dashboard. It's connected to a multi-speaker audio system. The touchscreen's display is crisp, and the icons are easy to navigate. While many cars have eliminated physical climate control buttons, the 2024 Nissan X-Trail comes with rotary controllers. These are far more user-friendly while driving than scanning multiple menus on the touchscreen. The high driving position and the wide windscreen offer a great view of the road ahead.  

The 2024 Nissan X-Trail is the largest SUV from the Japanese manufacturer. With an increase in the overall width and height, the car looks much more imposing. The biggest highlight is that it can carry seven passengers. The styling of the 2024 Nissan X-Trail is rather pleasing. The SUV styling makes for a very usable shape. The rugged cladding around the rear bumper and wheels, with silvery skid plate detailing, forges an appealing look. But the SUV leans more towards the premium side than any kind of off-road capability. Nissan's new design language is elegant and really unique to the brand. It flows nicely between all cars in the company's lineup with a sense of brand cohesion. It never appears to be yet another simply copy-paste selection of indefinable models. The 2024 Nissan X-Trail runs on 19-inch alloy wheels.

The 2024 Nissan X-Trail's entry-level model is equipped with a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.5-litre petrol engine that produces 170 hp of maximum power. The motor is mated to an X-Tronic CVT. Handling is not a strong point of midsized SUVs. But driving the X-Trail is still satisfying because the rake and reach adjustable steering has a reassuring feeling and is naturally weighted. It's precise with no feedback. Rear visibility could have been better. The large rear pillars partially block the view over the shoulders. The 2024 Nissan X-Trail is a nice highway cruiser. 

The 2024 Nissan X-Trail comes with in-built sat-nav. But it's not available in the entry-level model. A rearview camera comes as standard along with parking sensors. Other safety equipment includes adaptive high-beam headlights that's standard across the range.

At a starting price of AED 99,900, the 2024 Nissan X-Trail is an affordable midsized SUV. It offers nice travelling comfort and the option to carry seven passengers. It's a value-for-money car for families that want a bit more premium SUV.
