    • Toyota RAV4 Ownership Experience

I’ve been driving a Toyota RAV4 for a few years now, and while the first one or two years were smooth, the problems started showing up soon after. The brake noise began first — both while braking and from the brake pads themselves. Then came issues with the panoramic sunroof. On my RAV4, while opening the sunroof, the sunshade fabric got stuck halfway and bunched up unevenly near the rear section. The shade movement became irregular and misaligned, and it no longer opens smoothly. I have taken the car to the service center four times, and even after the national service team inspected it, the issue remains unresolved. Overall, the RAV4 might look impressive at first, but the long-term reliability and service experience have been disappointing. If you’re planning to buy one — think twice.

    • Engine performance and quality is poor

Not recommended; my new X-Trail got an issue with the engine when driven 70k and fully serviced by the agent. It needs to replace the head gas kit. Service-wise also very bad.

    • Best Family SUV

Great car, fully loaded with technology; the interior quality is very premium, along with 7 seats, a sunroof, and 8 Bose speakers, to mention a few features. Ride quality is very robust in the city and on highway and 3.5 L petrol engine provides enough juice to accelerate from 0 to 100. The 4x4 option is handy for any desert adventure. Strongly recommend this as a high-tech family car.

    • Big and Confident Drive

The Ford Explorer feels like a proper big SUV. I enjoy the height, it gives you confidence when driving on the road. The V6 engine has plenty of pull and doesn’t struggle even with a full load of passengers. I use it for family outings, and the seats are comfortable with good legroom for long trips. The sound system is pretty nice too for road trips. What I really value in the Explorer is the safety, there are multiple airbags and good driver-assist features like blind spot alerts. Yes, it takes more petrol compared to smaller SUVs, but if you’re looking for space and performance together, the Explorer will not disappoint.

    • Bold Style with Sporty Drive

The BMW X6 is a head-turner in the UAE. The coupe-like roofline makes it stand out from regular SUVs, and honestly, it feels more sporty than practical. The 3.0L turbo engine pushes strong power, and when you step on the gas, it responds instantly. The handling is sharp for an SUV, and I enjoy the confidence it gives on winding roads or fast highway drives. Inside, the design feels driver-focused, with a curved display and sporty seating position. Rear space is fine for adults, though the sloping roof cuts a bit of headroom compared to the X5. The boot is decent for daily use. The X6 is less about family practicality and more about making a bold, stylish statement while enjoying performance.
