Ford Everest

Inside, the Everest is designed around passenger needs, particularly keeping in mind the UAE's climate. Every trim level comes with a seven-seat configuration and crucially, independent rear-row air-conditioning with both overhead and floor-level outlets. This feature provides more effective cooling for second and third-row occupants during hot summer months.

Seating materials and features vary by trim. The Active uses cloth, while Sport and Tremor feature vinyl upholstery. Platinum upgrades to leather. Heated and ventilated front seats are standard on Sport, Tremor and Platinum.

All models are equipped with a 12-inch portrait-oriented central touchscreen running Ford's SYNC 4 v2 system, along with dual-zone automatic climate control, a glovebox cooler and wireless charging.

The cabin's flexibility comes from the 60:40 split-folding second-row bench and a third row that folds to create a larger luggage area.

While numerical boot capacities are yet to be confirmed, this adaptability allows the Everest to switch between carrying a full complement of passengers and accommodating bulky cargo for family trips or shopping runs. The Platinum trim adds a power-folding function for the third-row seats for extra convenience.

For driver assistance, the range is well-equipped.

Every trim includes seven airbags, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, a lane-keeping aid, collision mitigation, a blind-spot information system and front and rear parking sensors.

A standard rearview camera on the Active is upgraded to a 360-degree camera system on the Sport, Tremor, and Platinum trims, which also gain off-road information screens within the infotainment system.

Ford offers a powertrain for different priorities, but every 2026 Everest shares a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and a 4x4 drivetrain. The 80-litre fuel tank is also standard across all models, supporting longer journeys between emirates.

2.7L V6 EcoBoost
The 2.7-litre V6 EcoBoost petrol engine is the performance leader, producing 310 hp and a substantial 542 Nm of torque. It is standard on the Tremor and available as an option on the Active, Sport and Platinum trims. That availability is key; buyers don't have to choose the most rugged model to get the most powerful engine. Its 542 Nm of torque is a compelling figure for confident highway overtaking with a full cabin or for recreational driving on sand and gravel tracks.

2.3L I-4 EcoBoost
A strong alternative is the 2.3-litre I-4 EcoBoost petrol, with 296 hp and 420 Nm. It is offered on the Active, Sport and Platinum trims.

2.0L Turbo Diesel
For those who prefer diesel, the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel is available exclusively on the Active trim, delivering 170 hp and 405 Nm of torque. The standard fitment of a four-wheel-drive system ensures that capability is a core attribute of the entire Everest range.

The Everest integrates technology that is useful for both daily driving and longer trips.

The large 12-inch central screen is standard, serving as the hub for infotainment. While built-in navigation is reserved for Sport, Tremor and Platinum trims, all models benefit from the SYNC 4 v2 interface and wireless charging. Audio systems start with an eight-speaker setup, with the Platinum receiving a premium 12-speaker B&O system.

Convenience features on higher trims make the large SUV easier to live with. A power liftgate, acoustic laminated windscreen, and zone lighting are included from the Sport trim upwards. The Platinum also gets a dual-panel sunroof and ambient interior lighting. All models feature LED headlamps, taillamps, and foglamps as standard.

The Everest range is defined by four distinct trims, each with a specific buyer in mind. The lineup isn't just a ladder of features, it's a set of different characters.

• Everest Active: This is the practical entry point, offering a choice of all three engines. It comes with cloth upholstery, an eight-way power driver's seat, 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres, and the core 12-inch central touchscreen, though without built-in navigation.
• Everest Sport: Adding a layer of convenience and style, the Sport trim is available with either the 2.3L or 2.7L petrol engines. It introduces navigation, heated and ventilated front seats, a power liftgate, a 360-degree camera, and an acoustic laminated windscreen for quieter cruising.
• Everest Tremor: This is the dedicated adventure variant. It comes standard with the 2.7L V6 petrol engine and a host of off-road hardware. This includes 17-inch alloys with General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyres, off-road specific suspension, underbody protection, and a unique front bumper with an integrated grille light.
• Everest Platinum: Positioned as the premium choice, the Platinum focuses on comfort and technology. It features leather upholstery, a larger 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker B&O premium audio system, a dual-panel sunroof, ambient lighting, and power-folding third-row seats. It rides on 21-inch aluminium wheels with all-season tyres.

The 2026 Ford Everest lineup offers a clear choice for different UAE customers. Its strength lies in this breadth, ensuring buyers can find a model that fits their lifestyle without significant compromise.

The Active trim is for the value-focused buyer who needs a versatile seven-seat 4x4 and wants the choice of all three engines, including the diesel.

Stepping up, the Sport adds key convenience features like the 360-degree camera and heated seats, making it a strong candidate for families who do frequent inter-emirate travel.

The Tremor is unambiguously for the outdoor enthusiast whose weekend plans involve desert tracks and mountain routes, and who wants a vehicle with the hardware and appearance to match.

Finally, the Platinum is for the buyer who wants a premium, comfortable family SUV for predominantly on-road use. Its leather interior, upgraded sound system, and additional convenience features provide a more luxurious experience while retaining the core seven-seat, four-wheel-drive capability of the Everest platform.
