Nissan is making driving more comfortable by expanding the use of its Zero Gravity Seats to more models in the Middle East. These seats are based on NASA’s research into the best posture for humans in space. They are designed to reduce tiredness, improve spine alignment, and make long trips less tiring.
Available in a range of models
The Zero Gravity Seats first appeared in the Nissan Altima. Now, they are available in over half of Nissan’s passenger cars in the region. This includes the new KICKS, Pathfinder, and X-TRAIL. For the first time, the newest Nissan Patrol comes with Zero Gravity Seats throughout its lineup.
These seats now have built-in massage features that help relax muscles. This added comfort suits the Patrol's smooth driving and makes it more comfortable on highways, city roads, and even in the desert.
Divisional VP and President for the Middle East, KSA, and CIS at Nissan and INFINITI, Mr. Thierry Sabbagh, explained that comfort is a core part of how Nissan designs its cars. He pointed out that Zero Gravity Seats show their dedication to making ownership better by focusing on comfort and well-being.
Nissan plans to bring this advanced seating technology to more of its models. This way, every driver gets the benefit of greater comfort, making daily drives more relaxing and people-friendly.
Matches the natural posture of the body
Created with help from Yamazaki Laboratory at Keio University, Nissan’s Zero Gravity Seats match the body's natural posture in zero-gravity settings. They line up the spine and hips and spread out body weight evenly.
This smart design lessens pressure on joints, boosts blood flow, and cuts down driver tiredness. By studying muscles and bones and using detailed seat tests, designers placed 14 pressure points to ease stress on shoulders and back.
Tailor-made for different driving needs
All seats in Nissan’s lineup are made for different driving needs. In the Nissan Z, purpose-built seats keep drivers comfortable and secure whether on the road or the track. The top Z NISMO model adds custom Recaro leather and Alcantara seats. These seats have high-grip bolsters that support during fast turns while still be comfy on longer drives.
The new Nissan Magnite also focuses on climate comfort. It features quilted MODURE leatherette seats and Heat Guard tech so passengers stay comfortable in warm weather.
Drivers in the Middle East can now try Nissan’s Zero Gravity Seats in many SUVs and sedans. This includes the new Patrol, Pathfinder, X-TRAIL, KICKS, and Altima. If you want a seat that handles tough weather or sharp driving, you’ll find options in the new Magnite and Nissan Z models.
