Lexus RZ Updates
Lexus unveiled its first electric SUV, the Lexus RZ, in March 2025. It is a five-seater electric SUV with a coupe-like sloping roof, frameless doors and an aerodynamic design. The interior is premium, featuring a multi-display infotainment system, smartphone connectivity and advanced technology. It will be your ideal companion for daily commutes.

Variants
We can expect it to be available in 3 variants, RZ 300e (224 Hp), RZ 500e (380 Hp) and the most powerful RZ ever, the RZ 550e F Sport (408 Hp), all the variants will be powered by a dual-motor AWD setup.
Battery & Range
All three variants of RZ are equipped with a 77 kWh battery, providing driving range between 450 to 568 km, depending on the variant.
Charging
It will support DC fast charging (up to 150 kW), significantly reducing the charging time. Lexus estimates a 10 to 80% charge in under 30 minutes using the pre-conditioning function.
Features
The new RZ EV will include steer-by-wire steering, panoramic sunroof, elegant ambient lighting, Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 and updated Direct4 AWD System.
Rivals
It will likely compete with the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX and Mercedes EQE SUV in the UAE region.
