Lexus RZ Updates

Lexus unveiled its first electric SUV, the Lexus RZ, in March 2025. It is a five-seater electric SUV with a coupe-like sloping roof, frameless doors and an aerodynamic design. The interior is premium, featuring a multi-display infotainment system, smartphone connectivity and advanced technology. It will be your ideal companion for daily commutes. 

Launch: We can expect the launch of RZ in the UAE by late 2025.

Price: The Lexus RZ price in UAE is expected to be between AED 200,000 and 240,000.

Variants: We can expect it to be available in 3 variants, RZ 300e (224 Hp), RZ 500e (380 Hp) and the most powerful RZ ever, the RZ 550e F Sport (408 Hp), all the variants will be powered by a dual-motor AWD setup.

Battery & Range: All three variants of RZ are equipped with a 77 kWh battery, providing driving range between 450 to 568 km, depending on the variant.

Charging: It will support DC fast charging (up to 150 kW), significantly reducing the charging time. Lexus estimates a 10 to 80% charge in under 30 minutes using the pre-conditioning function.

Features: The new RZ EV will include steer-by-wire steering, panoramic sunroof, elegant ambient lighting, Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 and updated Direct4 AWD System.

Rivals: It will likely compete with the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX and Mercedes EQE SUV in the UAE region.
