The price of the "5.6L LUXE 7 SEATS" and "5.6L LUXE 8 SEATS" variants of the QX80 is AED 322,250 and AED 323,750, respectively. Barring the headlamps, grille, foglamps, taillamps and a few other elements, the body structure of the Infiniti QX80 is quite similar to that of the Nissan Patrol. The real difference is inside where the QX80 is much more luxurious than the Patrol. The QX80 gets 10-way powered seats, 8-inch touchscreen display compatible with Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, 15-speaker Bose® Cabin Surround® Sound system, tri-zone automatic climate control, and much more. Under the hood is a 5.6-litre V8 DOHC engine that serves the SUV with 400 hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 560 Nm. The wheels get power via an electronically controlled seven-speed automatic transmission. Available color options are Hermosa Blue, Champagne Quartz, Mineral Black, Mocha Almond, and Moonstone White.

Overview

Infiniti QX80 is a body on frame full-size SUV car, and in 2019, it received a fresh front appearance that is now nosed up with some minor tweaks. With these changes and bold and wider grills, the front of this SUV commands aggressive expressions. Moreover, the front fascia of Infiniti QX80 illustrates double art grille that matches nicely with the LED headlights and furnishes it a sophisticated look. The biggest upgrade in this year’s QX80 is wheel replacement and now it comes standard with 22-inch wheels that features premium liquid metal paint and ventilated disc brakes. The overall height is also ramped up to 1,925mm, that additionally boosts the overall presence of this SUV. 

QX80 is available in two trims LUXE and Limited, and the prices of this SUV, for the base variant, starts from AED3,22,250 and for the top trim it starts from AED3,23,750.

The exteriors of QX80 boasts its dynamic and active look further, Infiniti has smartly executed  LED lights in this SUV. You will get front LED headlights with adaptive front lighting system and smart beam, LED daytime running light, LED fog lights in the front and as well as rear bumpers.

Inside it, you’ll get refreshed Infiniti InTouch navigation with 8-inch WVGA colour touch-screen infotainment system that comes with voice command function and I-pod integration. And, for rear-seat passengers, it has dual 8-inch colour monitors, that can be connected via individual devices. The music system is powered by the Bose sound system that comes integrated with 15 speakers. Mechanically the new QX80 is identical to Nissan Armada, they both shares the same platform. They are powered by a 5.6L V8 engine that can produce a maximum power of 428hp at 5,800rpm and torque of 560Nm at 4,800rpm. All such power is transmitted via electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission system with adaptive shift control, that evenly distributes the speed at every gear shifts that cancels the scope of speed delay. And further makes ride thrilling and up to the standard of SUVs’. 

In terms of convenience features, this SUV sits high and you can control the power windows with the touch of the I-key, and leather seats for passengers with head restraints that ensure comfort while trekking long trips. 

Infiniti has assured the overall safety of passengers and has equipped the vehicle with an advanced airbag system that consists of front driver and passenger airbag, front passengers hip thorax side airbags, and front to rear curtain airbags. QX80 also comes with unique hydraulic body motion control technology that limits excess body-roll under sharp cornering.

QX80 assures a smooth ride, it comes with an engineered suspension system that works even on rough road conditions and gives a refined and comfortable ride for all the occupants.

This SUV gives you hands-on with the ultimate premium features like Bose surround sound system that comes integrated with 15 speakers, but ultimately lacks support for the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. 

Also, the infotainment system feels ultra-responsive but with outdated technology, this SUV might feel a little old school. Coming to the interior looks, the gauges look outdated and don’t hold any competition in 2019. But you’ll get comfortable seats and sufficient space of passengers. So, overall this big SUV is quite a good deal. It has a fuel tank capacity of 100-litre and cargo area capacity of 1404.6-litre, plus despite its huge size, it offers you a valid turning radius of 12.6m.

The powerhouse sitting under the bonnet of the car is a 5.6-litre V8 Double Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) and Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVVTCS). This purely refined engine burns oil to squeeze out a maximum power output of 400hp at 5800 rpm and a maximum torque of 560Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine hugs an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission which collectively with the engine catapult the SUV with a speed of 100km/h from rest in just 6.5 sec. The fuel economy of the car is 5.95 kmpl for city roads while 8.5 kmpl for highways. The dynamic SUV comes in two grade options- the excellence grade and the luxury grade.
