Infiniti QX60

The QX60 is one of the best selling cars for Infiniti. With every new model, it has been continuously enhanced to keep up with the luxury and performance of the mid-size crossover SUV segment.  The new QX60 comes with plenty of changes, on the outside, it resembles fresh design that is complemented by corporate grills, bi-xenon HID headlights that have been intensified by LED daytime running lights. Further, with crescent rear window, it looks more like an athletic car. 

Besides these modifications, now with QX60, you’ll get many active safety features standard among all the trims, such as blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection. All such features add value to the safety of passengers and drivers and make it one of the safest passenger vehicle. 

The 2019 model comes in two trims LUXE and LUXE Sensory, unlike the previous year model that was available in a single trim. 

Inside QX60, you’ll see a lot of upgrades and changes but unlike QX50 that comes with dual touchscreen display from the base variant, QX60 lacks that feature. The base variant comes with the Bose premium audio system that is integrated with twelve speakers and a single 8-inch multimedia display. Whereas, the premium one comes with a Bose sound system integrated with 14 speakers, two QHD 8-inch display for navigation and infotainment separate. 

Apart from all these changes under the hood, you’ll get the same 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 engine that can produce a maximum power of 295hp at 6,000rpm and torque of 350Nm at 4,800rpm, that is standard between both the trims. 

Infiniti has taken good care of passengers, especially when you are taking a long road trip with your family in the hot summer. You can activate the tri-zone automatic control system that filters the air using microfilter technology and ensures the flow of fresh sir. 

Furthermore, QX60 is one of the safest 7-seater SUV as it features industry-first predictive forward-collision warning system that monitors the vehicle driving in front of you and the vehicle leading ahead of the front car and warns you of any unexpected deceleration. Additionally with backup collision intervention and around-view mirror, when you combine these features with pedestrian detection and forward emergency braking, you get the best overall crossover safety ratings. 

The new QX60 shares a lot of looks and design of QX50, but it indeed looks more spacious both inside and outside. The quality of interior materials are quite excellent and with the well-furnished setup, it becomes pleasant and comfortable. However, when it comes to accommodation, the third row is not rich in term of space and is well suited for kids only.

The new QX60 comes without Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and in 2019 you will surely feel a lack of these essential features. However, it has some essential driver and passenger safety features like lane departure warning and intelligent cruise control, a rearview camera, that makes driving easier. But, the handling of QX60 is not up to the bar, and it feels more like a standard one that you can see in QX50.
