Kia Seltos Hybrid Unveiled in Paris: What UAE Buyers Should Know

Dubai: Kia has unveiled the Seltos Hybrid at the Paris Motor Show 2026, adding a strong-hybrid option to its popular compact SUV. This news covers the powertrain, design, features, safety and what we know about availability, so UAE buyers can see what may come next.

Meet the Seltos Hybrid

The Seltos now has a strong-hybrid version, which means it can run on electric power at times without needing to be plugged in. Kia showed it in Paris as a new step for the model.

The global version comes in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive forms. Kia plans to bring it to India, likely next year. No UAE details have been shared yet, but with the Seltos already familiar here, a hybrid is worth watching.

Under the Bonnet

The hybrid pairs a 1.6-litre petrol engine with an electric setup and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) lets you power small appliances, such as an electric kettle, from the car. Kia has not shared motor output, battery size, torque or fuel economy, so direct comparisons will have to wait.
