Renault Boreal

The Renault Boreal is a five-seater C‑segment SUV developed specifically for markets outside Europe and launched in 2025. It features a striking, sculpted silhouette with Y‑shaped LED headlights and tail lights, an illuminated Nouvel’R logo, flared wheel arches with rugged cladding and large 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, combining modern elegance with SUV practicality .

Launch

Nissan plans to roll out Boreal in the UAE by late 2025, following production start in Turkey and Brazil.

Powertrain

It will be powered by a new-generation 1.3 L turbocharged petrol engine delivering 156–163 hp and 240–270 Nm torque, paired with a 6-speed dual‑clutch transmission.

Interior & Tech

The High-tech cabin will be equipped with twin 10-inch OpenR screens (infotainment + digital cluster), Google Automotive Services (Maps, Assistant, Play Store), 48‑colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, soft-touch materials and Harman Kardon sound system with five audio profiles.

Space & Practicality

At 4.56 m long and 2.70 m wheelbase, the boot holds 586 L (expandable to 1,770 L), with flat-folding rear seats for utility.

Safety

It will come with up to 24 Level‑2 ADAS features, including adaptive cruise, lane-keep assist, AEB, hands‑free parking and 360° camera.

Rivals

The targets higher-end compact SUVs like Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, Mazda CX‑5 and Kia Seltos but boasts advanced tech and spacious practicality.
