The cabin of the 2024 Renault Koleos is more on the practical side instead of being premium. The updated version includes better leather seats and faux-leather upholstery on the dashboard. While the central console's grab handles get stitched leather and shiny chrome inserts, the plastics are hard and upset the cabin's look and feel. But the hard plastics make the cabin more durable. The hybrid driver's information panel comprises a digital speedometer, flanked by analogue fuel and temperature gauges. The central dial comes with toggle functions. The dashboard is dominated by an 8.7-inch vertically stacked touchscreen infotainment unit connected to an 11-speaker audio system. The software is a bit clunky to operate but the display is clear. The panoramic sunroof makes the cabin airier.

The exterior of the upgraded 2024 Renault Koleos isn't much different from its earlier version. Unlike most of its rivals, the Koleos doesn't get any aggressive lines or a razor-sharp design. Instead, it gets a flowing profile with characteristic curves. The centre of the radiator grille sports a bold Renault logo. The grille itself gets triple chrome slats and is flanked by projector headlamps that have a flowing design. The car's rear profile is identical to the previous model. It has a swollen taillamp that has a wrap-around design. The rear bash plate begins from a higher point on the body-colored bumper. The split dual-opening tailgate makes loading and unloading luggage easier. It comes with a unique feature, and the Koleos is the only car to offer it. The entire exterior gets a lot of chrome treatment. The car runs on 18-inch alloy wheels.

The 2024 Renault Koleos has acres of space in its cabin because it's a five-seater. There's sumptuous legroom and headroom on all seats. Both the driver and front passenger get Nappa-leather-trimmed armchairs that have electric adjustment, along with manually extendable thigh support, heating, cooling, and massaging function. Finding the perfect driving position is easy. Three people can comfortably sit at the back and, with the high-mounted roof, will never have to worry about their heads brushing the ceiling. All seats get nice padding. Even without lumbar support, long-distance traveling in the 2024 Renault Koleos is not tiring. The boot space below the powered tailgate is 458 litres with all seats in place. It can be expanded to 1,690 litres with the rear seat folded flat. The dual-split tailgate is a bit slow in operation.  

The 2024 Renault Koleos is equipped with a naturally aspirated four-cylinder, 2.5-litre petrol engine that produces 170 PS/233 Nm. The motor is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The engine isn't a firecracker, though the transmission sets off smoothly. Engine noise is down to a minimum, and driving around the city is fuss-free. The Koleos was never intended to be sporty. The steering is fairly light, which helps in parking in tight spaces. On highways, the 2024 Renault Koleos comes as a decent cruiser. 

The 2024 Renault is fairly equipped in terms of safety and driver-assist features. The higher models get sat-nav function. All models get autonomous emergency braking with forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, anti-lock braking and multiple airbags. But the lane-keep assist and cross-traffic alert are notable misses. The auto-dipping mirrors and reverse parking camera make parking easier.

The 2024 Renault Koleos is rather expensive, considering the limited equipment it offers. But it comes with a spacious and airy cabin and comfortable seats. The car may be worthy to those looking for a stylish family SUV.
