The interior of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2-Door Rubicon is premium. The seats and upholstery are full leather. The cabin, though spacious for its size, is more on the rugged side. The dashboard and central console stand strong and firm. Both get soft-touch plastic along with the door handles. The multifunction steering wheel is soft leather-wrapped. The dashboard is dominated by a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that runs on Jeep's upgraded Uconnect 5 software. It's connected to a multi-speaker audio system. Another 12.3-inch screen serves as the information display. There are two front cupholders, a small glovebox, and a bin under the central armrest. Jeep has added two new cubby holes on top of the dashboard to keep small items. The manual buttons and switchgear on the dashboard are easy to reach and operate.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2-Door Rubicon had a number of updates over the years. The latest round lends the car a bit more meaner-looking blacked-out grille. It retains seven slats but they are now narrower than before. The fundamentals still remain the same as the old-school ladder-on-frame chassis, and the body is bolted on top. The car gets beam-like axles at both rear and front. The windshield is new too, and is made of Gorilla glass. Every aspect of the Rubicon's design exudes confidence and capability. The boxy silhouette is still there. The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door adds some distinctive touches like the aggressive 17-inch heavy-duty tires, and the bold badging. The car gets all-around LED lighting.

It's hard to expect a superbly comfortable ride from a mean and rugged SUV like the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2-Door Rubicon. The 12-way power-adjustable front seats are the most comfortable. Getting into the rear seat is a bit of a challenge as the front passenger seat needs to be folded down to cede access. While the seats offer optimum support, they are heavily bolstered and designed to keep the occupant in place. That may be uncomfortable at times. But the rear seat comes with ample legroom, and with the car's boxy proportions, there's no shortage of headroom. The boot space is huge. There's a lot of suspension noise when the car is driven over a raised drain cover or potholes. 

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door Rubicon is equipped with a dual-turbocharged, six-cylinder, 4.0-litre petrol engine that produces 285 PS/352 Nm. The motor is mated to an eight-speed all-wheel-drive automatic. Handling of the SUV is totally off-road oriented. It seems the muddier the road, the better for the Rubicon. Negotiating even the toughest terrain is easy for this SUV. The higher ground clearance lends the car a better approach, ramp, and breakover angles. The windscreen is expansive and offers a commanding view of the road ahead.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2-Door Rubicon's standard backup camera is a big help while parking. However, the Wrangler 2 Door lacks a surround-view camera that offers an overhead view of the car and its immediate surroundings. The car gets onboard navigation with more than 2,000 mapped trails. Other safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and a number of other driver-assist features.

At a starting price of AED 259,999, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door Rubicon is among the most expensive SUVs in its class. It's a car for all-out adventure seekers, and it comes with a number of tech features. On the highway, the Rubicon offers a planted and well-balanced ride. The fuel economy is a downer, though.
