The 2024 BAIC X35 gets a practical cabin. It gets a two-tone interior layout. Depending on the model, the car gets fabric or faux leather seats. The dashboard gets piano black plastics but the rest of the cabin gets the harder variety, especially on the door insides. It upsets the overall look and feel of the cabin. But buyers interested in the more practical side won't mind that. The piano black plastic is prone to dust and smudges. The dashboard is dominated by a suspended 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit connected to a six-speaker sound system. The display isn't very crisp but still serves the purpose. The 7.0-inch driver's information display gets analog and digital gauges. The multifunction steering wheel controls all multimedia functions. The physical buttons on the dashboard and central console are easy to operate. The panoramic sunroof is optional. The pedals are perfectly placed and are easily reachable.

The 2024 BAIC X35 is equipped with a four-cylinder, 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 116 PS/148 Nm. The motor is mated to a four-speed automatic. The engine does feel a little underpowered. Most of its rivals get at least a five-speed automatic transmission. The claimed mileage is 15.7 kmpl that's among the best in class. The steering wheel is light and promptly obeys driver commands. The 2024 BAIC X35 is a great daily commuting SUV. It turns corners with minimum fuss.  

The 2024 BAIC X35 gets a reverse parking camera. Other safety equipment includes tire pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, antilock braking, speed sensor with central locking, cruise control and multiple airbags. The BAIC X35's safety system is decent but most of its rivals have better equipment and driver-assist features. 

At a starting price of AED 62,900, the 2024 BAIC X3 Fashion is among the most affordable cars in its segment. It's practical and comes with everyday usability. The cabin is comfortable though the seats should have come with lumbar adjustment. Overall, the 2024 BAIC X3 is a worthy car for those on a budget.
