Geely has taken the next step in redefining hybrid transport with the launch of the Galaxy A7 EM-i PHEV. This model, which is positioned as a stylish, spacious, and highly efficient sedan, will come with practicality that can't be matched.

This practically will be very useful for UAE drivers, where long-range travel and fuel economy matter more than ever. As it comes with a total driving range of more than 2,100 km and strong electric performance, this is one of the most ambitious hybrids from Geely to date.

Performance and Powertrain: Designed for Distance

The Galaxy A7 EM-i has the NordThor EM-i hybrid system at its heart. It pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine (110hp) with a powerful electric motor and a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack.

Buyers have the opportunity to choose from two electric range options: 60 km or 130 km. The two offer flexibility depending on what a driver needs.

Another standout is fuel efficiency, as Geely claims over 50 km per litre when drivers rely on only the petrol engine. That means the A7 EM-i is ideal for motorists in the UAE who cover large distances daily. 

Striking Looks and Practical Interior

The Geely Galaxy A7 EM-i catches the eye with a sharp fastback silhouette and wide LED light bar at the front. What gives it a modern and sporty appearance are the Angular headlamps and a full-width rear taillight.

On the inside, the cabin has a blend of digital and tactile elements like a floating infotainment display which sits beside a fully digital cluster, while physical dials and switches remain for air conditioning and audio control.

The car has generous dimensions (4,918 mm long, 1,905 mm wide, and 1,495 mm high) which means it has a roomy cabin, while a wheelbase of 2,845 mm ensures comfortable legroom for front and rear passengers. This layout means the A7 EM-i is ideal for families and frequent travellers.

The price is expected to be above the Geely Preface and it'll compete with hybrid sedans like the BYD Seal DM-i.
