Toyota Introduces all-new Corolla Cross with new styling updates and enhanced features

ABU DHABI: Toyota has sparked excitement among car lovers with the unveiling of the highly-anticipated 2024 Corolla Cross facelift. The Corolla Cross, a compact crossover that is loved worldwide, is back with upgrades that enhance its appeal.

Toyota unveiled the 2024 Corolla Cross at Thailand's Central World's Eden Zone on February 8, 2024. It boasts a stylish design and tech-savvy features. Since it was rolled out in 2020, the Corolla Cross has captivated car enthusiasts with its spacious interiors and sleek appearance. With a refresh, the carmaker is aiming to attract more buyers to its compact SUV segment.

The variant lineup includes - 1.8 Sport Plus, HEV Premium, HEV Premium Luxury, and HEV GR Sport with prices ranging between THB 999,000 (approx AED 102,792) and THB 1,254,000 (AED 129,030).

The facelift version of the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross features slim LED headlights, a fresh grille with a multi-dimensional design, and a panoramic roof. 

Standard features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, with USB Type-C ports. It also boasts updated safety features including rear cross-traffic alert and blind spot monitoring on the 1.8 Sport Plus which is the entry-level model. 

The Luxury variant of the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross HEV comes with Toyota Safety Sense and features like dynamic radar cruise control and automatic emergency braking. 

Additionally, the HEV GR Sport and HEV Premium Luxury models come with parking support brake capabilities. The outdated foot brake has been replaced with an electronic parking brake. 

President Mr. Noriaki Yamashita highlighted the commitment of Toyota to electrification and carbon neutrality while Vice President Mr. Nutthorn Sinives detailed the new Corolla Cross urban x premium vibe and a choice between hybrid and regular petrol engines.

Toyota promises outstanding fuel efficiency and peppy power across all powertrain options. For the Hybrid model, the TNGA platform ensures a smooth ride. 

Based on the model exterior colour options vary with dynamic options for the HEV GR Sport and classic choices for other models. The colour options available for the interior include Black, GR Sport Black, and Dark Rose, tailored to enhance the high-end feel of the vehicle across different variants.
