Lepas Arrives in the UAE: Three Smart SUVs and One Big Surprise

Abu Dhabi: Lepas is officially here. It has brought a surprise along. UAE buyers can now explore three smart SUVs, the L4, L6 and L8, through Al Ghurair Mobility. Then comes the twist: an L8 Super Hybrid that claims a 1,300 km combined range.

Meet the Lepas Family

The Surprise: L8 Super Hybrid

Here is the headline. Lepas lists an L8 Super Hybrid with a 1,300 km combined range, starting from AED 1,886 a month. Detailed hybrid specs are not yet on the official site. Ask the dealer for them before you decide.

Leopard-Inspired Looks: Exterior

The headlights take their cue from a leopard's eyes. Each model then adds its own touches.

All three models get a 13.2-inch central display. The L4 adds a ventilated driver seat, which is welcome in a UAE summer. The L8 brings a two-tone cabin and a Sony premium sound system.

Safety Features Listed

Every model lists a 540° HD panoramic camera. The L8 lists six airbags and rear cross traffic alert. The official site does not detail airbags for the L4 or L6.

What Makes Lepas Worth Watching

On paper, Lepas stands out for its warranty and its simple three-model range. The L8 Super Hybrid is the one to follow, because its range claim is bold. If you drive mostly in the city, the L4 and its ventilated driver seat look like the sensible start.
