JAECOO J5 Captivates at Exclusive Regional Test Drive Event in Dubai

Abu Dhabi : Chinese automotive brand JAECOO conducted a successful regional test drive of its all-new subcompact crossover SUV J5 at the tranquil natural setting of Al Barari, Dubai. 

Under the theme ‘Go Discover’, an exclusive regional test drive event was attended by 60 top journalists and influencers from across the Middle East, who experienced the SUV's capabilities, as well as a lifestyle of innovation and connection.

The event consists of a 20 km city-style route within Al Barari, focusing on the J5’s smooth handling, advanced safety features, and comfortable ride designed for today’s demanding city drive. The SUV, equipped with front-wheel drive (FWD), comes with three drive modes—Normal, Eco, and Sport—serving the needs of diverse driving preferences and city scenarios.

The test drive route was a testament to the J5’s attractive look and practicality as a city SUV. What really stands out in its performance is the independent suspension system, promising a bump-free ride smooth ride, while the 540° panoramic imaging system provides great visibility around tight corners and narrow lanes, giving that extra confidence and safety to the drivers.

Impressive Cabin

The cabin of the J5 is an excellent place to be in, as the multisensory experience awaits you with karaoke mode, a noise-cancelling microphone, and a powerful SONY sound system with eight speakers, for an outstanding entertainment experience. During a break, the participants also received an impromptu karaoke session, showcasing the vehicle’s mission to make every journey a real pleasure and delightful.

Practicality and utility are other strong points of the SUV, which was on display with a spacious trunk designed to fit all kinds of luggage, camping gear, or shopping. The hands-free electric tailgate, operable by a foot gesture under the bumper, gives an extra convenience and elegance.

Giving an experience beyond just driving, an outdoor gathering showcased the J5’s camping-ready ecosystem. This includes detachable magnetic LED lights, smart gear storage, strong storage capacity, and rooftop load capability, giving a glimpse of the SUV’s readiness for outdoor adventures, an attractive proposition to families, explorers, and urban residents, looking forward to weekend trips.
