The 350-Owner Gathering
OMODA & JAECOO UAE built the event around a theme called 'One Community. One Passion. One Drive.'
At Yas Marina, over 350 car enthusiasts gathered, more than 150 OMODA and JAECOO owners. Behind that turnout sits a harder number: Chery International has sold over 5,000 vehicles in the UAE. Many of those owners made the trip to Abu Dhabi in person.
Circuit Drive & Formation Flight
The circuit drive was billed as an exclusive event for community members.
At Yas Marina Circuit, OMODA & JAECOO owners ran a community convoy lap. No showroom stands, no static displays. The brand booked the F1 venue and gave OMODA C5 and JAECOO J7 SHS owners a circuit session instead.
Dozens of vehicles lined up on the tarmac for a formation aerial photograph, closing the event. Getting people involved builds community; traditional advertising rarely manages that. User participation also produces content that reads as more authentic.
Lifestyle Beyond the Showroom
OMODA & JAECOO says it aims to extend its offer beyond the vehicle purchase into what it calls 'lifestyle experiences'.
After the track sessions wrapped, attendees headed to the Sunset Lounge. Owners and brand representatives mixed over refreshments there.
OMODA and JAECOO hosted a live watch party for the Saudi Arabia vs Spain football match. Themed competitions ran throughout the evening. The brands also used the event to display their product range, including the Super Hybrid System (SHS) and the upcoming Valet Parking Driver (VPD) technology. Both technologies were shown alongside the football screening.
Expansion Momentum
The Abu Dhabi event drew customers from across the Emirates. Regional sales have risen steadily since.
Abu Dhabi marks OMODA & JAECOO's first large-scale event in the emirate. Globally, the brand has passed one million cumulative sales in three years; in the UAE, it has cleared 5,000 units. Retention and community building are now the priority.
Yas Marina is the template for further events across the Emirates. Similar community activations are planned for other GCC markets. Repeat business is the goal, keeping the second and third purchase inside the brand.
