At the company's International User Summit in China, that figure came alongside a technology and expansion plan targeting new hybrid systems, autonomous parking, and AI-driven vehicle interiors. The brand forecasts over 800,000 sales in 2026 alone. Growth at that pace funds the push into markets like the UAE, where OMODA & JAECOO currently competes as a relative newcomer.
1.4 Million in Three and a Half Years
Reaching 1.4 million sales shows how quickly OMODA & JAECOO have spread across global markets. Growth is not slowing. The brands expect 2026 annual sales to exceed 800,000 vehicles, roughly 110 percent up year on year. Electrified powertrains drive much of that volume, covering hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery-electric models and accounting for 81 percent of total sales. Europe alone takes 48 percent of global sales, two and a half years after the brands entered the region.
In the UAE, OMODA & JAECOO has already recorded more than 6,000 cumulative vehicle sales, with the JAECOO J7 as a key volume driver. Gulf ambitions follow from that global footing. Higher sales worldwide have funded more investment in the local dealer and service network, expanding support for the customer base here.
New Hybrid and Autonomous Tech
New technologies sit at the centre of the company's forward plan for UAE buyers. The upcoming OMODA 7 will debut a new 5-kWh hybrid system with a "Super Quiet Mode" for electric-vehicle-like refinement in city driving. That system also has vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, supplying up to 2.2 kW of external power. Enough to run compatible appliances outdoors, or serve as a limited home backup source.
For urban convenience, JAECOO detailed its Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) system. Tight underground and multi-storey car parks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the target use case. SIVP-equipped JAECOO 5 and JAECOO 7 models are scheduled for delivery in Middle Eastern markets in the near future. The showcase also covered an AI-powered cockpit and the AiMOGA Robotics division, including the Mobo home companion robot.

Market Expansion and Design Vision
Sales figures and physical presence are both climbing. OMODA & JAECOO plans to grow from 79 countries to 99 by 2027, adding mature and competitive markets such as Japan, South Korea, and Canada. More than 1,700 showrooms support the network today. In the UAE, the brand has confirmed no plans to scale back its regional operations.
Alongside the expansion, OMODA unveiled a clear design direction with the OMODA X crossover. Its "mecha-inspired" styling is set to become the core design language for the next generation of OMODA models. The brand's coming lineup will share that look across all variants. Over the next three years, the company plans to expand its total portfolio to 13 models, keeping a consistent flow of new and updated vehicles through its global dealership network, including showrooms across the UAE.
