OMODA & JAECOO Unveils OMODA X and 5-kWh Hybrid Tech: What UAE Buyers Should Know

Dubai: Hybrid SUVs are a hot topic for many UAE buyers right now, aren't they? That is why this news is worth a look. OMODA & JAECOO has wrapped up its International User Summit in Wuhu, China. It showed the global debut of OMODA X, a new 5-kWh hybrid technology and smarter parking features.

Meet OMODA X: A Cross Off-Road Concept

OMODA X is described as a Cross Off-Road Vehicle. It mixes SUV practicality, off-road-inspired capability and sports-car styling. Owners from four countries also shared their own customisation ideas.

5-kWh Hybrid Tech: Quieter and More Efficient

The new 5-kWh HEV technology adds Super Quiet Mode and Super Life features. Both aim to improve cabin comfort and everyday usability. During the OMODA Super Hybrid Marathon, cars drove on city roads, highways and mountain routes. Air conditioning and infotainment stayed on throughout.

Tight mall car parks are a daily test in the UAE. OMODA & JAECOO showed Super Intelligent Valet Parking, or SIVP, at its Super Intelligent Experience Lab. The demonstration covered designated scenarios only.

What This Means for the UAE

Local buyers already have hybrid choices. The brand passed 6,000 cumulative deliveries in the UAE in September 2026. It also says it is expanding its dealership and after-sales network.

On paper, this is a strong sign that the brand is investing in hybrids and driver convenience. Still, this is a preview. Prices, specifications and exact launch dates for the OMODA 7 SHS-H and SIVP in the UAE are not confirmed yet.
