Toyota Launches the 2026 Toyota GR Yaris Aero Pack in the Middle East

On 16 December, Toyota announced the launch of the GR Yaris in the Middle East. Firstly, it was launched in Japan in 2020 with motorsport-first approach. The new GR Yaris is assembled carefully at the GR FACTOR with a dedicated production line within Toyota’s renowned Motomachi Plant. It carries the spirit of Toyota craftsmanship, where a team of takumi (master craftspeople) brings motorsport technology to life to deliver the highest level of precision and performance.

The new GR Yaris brings the motorsport-proven engineering with precision-tuned aerodynamics, with the following technology and key features: 

• Powered by the 1.6-liter inline three-cylinder direct-injection turbo engine (G16E-GTS)
• Produces a power of 296 HP and torque of 400 Nm
• Different 8-speed Automatic Transmission model (AT), or a six-speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT) 
• GR-FOUR full-time 4WD system with electronically controlled multi-plate clutch and three selectable modes
