The MG GT is the most visually interesting option under AED 85,000. With a sportier exterior, up to 159 hp on the top trim, and a cleaner interior layout, it's ideal for buyers who want something that looks more deliberate. It was recently updated for 2026 and has garnered strong interest among younger buyers in Dubai.

AED 70,000 to AED 100,000

This is the segment where most UAE buyers are looking, and MG has a strong offering in this bracket.

The MG ZS, at AED 66,500 to AED 82,900, is the easiest recommendation in the entire lineup. The top trim, Luxury Plus, at AED 82,900 comes with 168 hp, a panoramic sunroof, ADAS level 2, heated and ventilated seats, and a 360-degree camera. That's a fully loaded compact SUV at a price where rivals still offer mid-level features. The MG One at AED 71,900 is a slightly more aggressive alternative to the ZS. The dual-display cockpit adds to the premium feel, though the ride over Dubai's speed bumps can feel stiffer than the ZS.

For obvious reasons, the MG HS, at AED 90,900, is the most popular MG in the UAE. The 2.0-liter turbo on higher trims produces 227 hp. The dual 12.3-inch displays are genuinely excellent. At AED 99,900 for the DEL Plus, you get a full-featured family SUV that competes with cars costing AED 130,000 to AED 150,000 from other brands. It's hard to argue with that value, especially in a year when running costs have risen significantly.

Alternative fuel options deserve attention too. The MG HS Hybrid, priced at AED 96,900, offers a combined range of over 1,000 km and a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, making it one of the best arguments for going hybrid in the UAE right now. With petrol prices where they are after April 2026, buyers who commute between Abu Dhabi and Dubai regularly will see real savings within months.

The MG RX9, priced at AED 99,000, clearly targets family buyers. It's easy to spot with its seven seats; 234 hp from a 2.0-liter turbo engine; available all-wheel drive on the Luxury trim at AED 136,900; and a cabin that comfortably fits five adults. For a family of five or more anywhere in the UAE, the RX9 is hard to beat at this price.

The MG Whale is newer and slightly less tested in the market, but the numbers are strong. Starting at AED 95,445 with 227 hp and a more premium feel than the HS, it sits in an interesting middle ground between the HS and the RX9. It's a viable option for buyers who want a premium daily SUV without needing seven seats.

Over AED 99,000

The MG 8 PHEV, at AED 99,900, is the flagship sedan. With plug-in hybrid technology and a premium cabin, it's the only MG that genuinely competes in the near-luxury sedan space. If you want an MG that doesn't feel like you chose value over quality, this is it.

For an affordable all-electric option, the MG 4 EV starts at AED 103,000. With up to 530 km of range on the larger battery, free public charging across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and a dynamic drive that has surprised many reviewers, it's the most practical EV entry point in the UAE under AED 140,000. The XPower variant at AED 138,000 adds 435 hp and real performance credentials.

The Cyberster at AED 288,500 is not a practical car, and nobody says it out loud. But 503 hp, scissor doors, and a 0-to-100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds make it a legitimate performance machine at a price far below European alternatives. If you want an electric sports car and park near JBR, this is a conversation piece and then some.

MG Worth Buying?
