Jetour F700 Preview: A 892 hp Plug-In Pickup Built for UAE Dunes and Daily Drives

Abu Dhabi: Ever wished for a pickup that can climb a dune on Friday and cruise through city traffic on Monday? The Jetour F700 is designed for exactly that mix. It pairs a plug-in hybrid system with a body-on-frame chassis. It is expected in the UAE in December. Pricing has not been announced yet.

Meet the Jetour F700: Two Trims, One Big Pickup

The F700 is a double-cab pickup that seats five. It comes in two trims, Luxury and Flagship. Both share the same hybrid powertrain.

The petrol engine works alongside two electric motors, one at each axle, through a two-speed hybrid transmission. The result is electric all-wheel drive with plenty of pull. The battery is also built for fast charging, which suits busy UAE schedules.

Inside, the F700 feels more like a premium SUV than a work truck. A 15.6-inch touchscreen runs on the Snapdragon 8255 platform, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Behind the wheel sits a 35.4-inch LCD instrument display. Dual-zone automatic AC, rear vents and a CN95 filter help keep the cabin fresh in summer.

Both trims offer Level 2 driver assistance. The brand also lists a 360° camera and a transparent chassis view for both. Automatic Parking Assist comes on the Flagship.

On paper, the F700 stands out for its hybrid output, fast charging and serious off-road hardware. It also comes with a 6-year/200,000 km vehicle warranty, an 8-year battery warranty and a 10-year engine warranty. Still, UAE pricing and the exact launch date are not confirmed yet.
