Kia Stinger now with a new Legato body kit

ABU DHABI: Kia Stinger, the 5-seater fastback, receives a styling update from ARK performance in the form of a brand-new Legato body kit. This cosmetically enhanced Stinger model showed up in its latest avatar at SEMA 2018 (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show at Las Vegas Convention Center in the USA.

The officially termed “Legato” is actually a full body kit that comes with a front spoiler, wheel arch extensions, rear wing, diffuser, and a carbon-fibre bonnet. The regular Kia Stinger 2018 steals attention on the road with its visually captivating design. In the list are included features like - full LED headlights, power trunk, dark chrome finished trimmings, rear LED combination lights. ARK performance has not only treated the Stinger with a new body kit, but has also equipped it with a new suspension, exhaust system, and 20-inch cambered forged wheels.

On the inside, the vehicle offers a premium feel and look. It features passenger and driver power seats, bigger sunroof, spacious cabin, ventilated front seats, 7-inch supervision cluster, 3-zone climate control system, wireless smartphone charger, 15 sound system, and a head-up display unit.

From the safety viewpoint, this fastback five-door sedan houses an array of hi-tech additions to ensure optimum protection of the occupants. The Kia Stinger comes stuffed with seven airbags, AVM with parking assistance, knee airbag, blind-spot collision warning, park distance warning-forward, RCCW, and electronic stability control.

The Kia Stinger 2018 gets a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder powertrain and the top of the range 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 unit. Both the motors are paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine offers a maximum of 259 PS and a peak torque of 353 Nm. On the other hand, the 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 generates a maximum of 370 PS and 510 Nm of peak torque.

The starting price of the standard model is AED 170,000 in the UAE. Customers can buy the body kit offerings individually or can purchase the complete kit by making a handsome payment of around USD 4,350 (AED 15,978).
