Genesis GV80 Coupe previewed in South Korea before its upcoming launch

ABU DHABI: The highly anticipated Genesis GV80 Coupe, which is a road-ready variant of the previously introduced GV80 Coupe concept, has officially made its debut in South Korea. This striking vehicle will go on sale in South Korea on October 11.

This new Genesis model represents the perfect combination of performance and luxury, strengthening the stature of this car as a distinguished automaker. The GV80 Coupe is an addition to the Genesis portfolio, making a significant impression on South Korean car enthusiasts. 

The luxury coupe's dimensions are 1975 mm in width, 4965 mm in length, and 1710 mm in height. The car's wheelbase is around 2955 mm. 

Design-wise, the GV80 Coupe showcases a two-line Crest front grille, a striking front bumper with larger air intakes, and slender headlamps crafted with cutting-edge MLA. The highlight of the coupe is its roofline, which resembles a coupe, complemented by a roof spoiler and an integrated duckbill spoiler. GV80 Coupe also comes with a set of 22-inch wheels to complete the look and enhance its visual appeal.

Under the hood, the Genesis GV80 Coupe is equipped with two distinct engine lineup options. The first option is an impressive 2.5-litre gasoline inline-four engine generating around 300 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque. Those who need more power can go with a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 that offers a substantial 375 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque.

The safety package is also impressive, including several advanced driver assistance systems and ten airbags. You also get these top-notch safety features- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, like Lane Following Assist 2, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control and Highway Driving Assist 2.

Genesis also made certain enhancements to the GV80 coupe version's SUV counterpart. Genesis believes that both the GV80 SUVs, stylish coupe, and regular version will redefine the luxury SUV experience and exceed the customer's expectations.
