Hyundai has pulled the covers off the all-new 2026 Palisade, its flagship SUV, with a global reveal in the US. This new version comes with a hybrid option, fresh looks, a roomier cabin, and tech-rich features. 

The Palisade has been a favorite in the UAE for families looking for comfort, practicality, and a strong road presence. The 2026 model builds on that legacy with smarter and more powerful upgrades.

Bigger Size and Bolder Design

The 2026 Palisade has grown in size, now 63 mm longer with a 68 mm longer wheelbase. Hyundai’s latest design language makes it more masculine and confident on the road. The front is dominated by vertical LED lights and a horizontal slat grille, paired with active air dams for better airflow.

The side view shows new alloy wheels and a larger glass area for improved visibility. At the rear, Hyundai has added a sportier bumper, vertical LED tail lights, and a reshaped boot door that completes the modern SUV styling.

Upgraded Cabin and Luxury Features

Inside, the 2026 Palisade sees a full redesign with a new dashboard and connected dual 12.3-inch displays for both driver info and infotainment. The seats are now comfier, with the second row getting electric adjustment and ventilation.  

Inspired by the Ioniq 5, the SUV now has scooped door pads, a movable center console, and higher-grade finishes throughout. Practicality meets luxury here, with smart space use and premium touches all over the cabin.

Hybrid Powertrain and Engine Specs

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade now offers two engine options. The first is a 3.5-litre V6 that produces 287 bhp and 352.5 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The highlight, however, is the new 2.5-litre hybrid engine that generates 329 bhp and 459.2 Nm. With its hybrid setup, the Palisade can travel over 1,000 km on a full tank, making it a great pick for long UAE road trips.

XT Pro Variant and Off-Road Capabilities

Hyundai has also introduced a new XT Pro variant for serious off-roaders. This version rides 25 mm higher, at 213 mm, and includes 18-inch all-terrain wheels. It also comes with an electronic rear limited-slip differential and terrain modes like Mud, Sand, and Snow, making it desert-ready for UAE conditions.

UAE Launch Timeline and Price

While the 2026 Palisade is now available in the US and South Korea, Hyundai plans to roll it out to key markets, including the UAE, by the end of 2025. The current Palisade starts from AED 152,000, and with all the updates, a slight price hike is expected.
