On the other engine, the top engine manages 123 hp of power and 151 Nm of torque. Hence, it can be seen that it is more powerful than the Yaris despite being more affordable.

Honda City

The Honda City is one of the most popular compact sedans in almost all the countries it is sold in, and the Middle East is no different. It is more affordable than the Toyota car, though the top-end trim is expensive. However, the list of features in the Honda is way better too.

Under the hood, the Honda City is available in just one engine option, the 1.5-litre in-line 4-cylinder unit. This engine can produce up to 118 hp of maximum power and 146 Nm of highest torque. The CVT transmission is super smooth too.

Hyundai Accent

The Hyundai Accent is one of the most stylish designed sedans in the UAE, especially after the latest generation update. The large front grille and the sleek combination LED taillights can be barely missed.

The Hyundai Accent is available in two engine options. The small one is a 1.4-litre unit that makes 100 hp power and 136 Nm torque. The bigger 1.6-litre unit mill produces 123 hp of power and 156 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, depending on the variant you choose.

Which one is better?

Aesthetically, the decision depends on the buyers completely. All of the four sedans, including the Toyota Yaris, have distinct designs to show. However, when it comes to the features, the Yaris is not the most inflated on. Since it is the most expensive model of the four, it is expected to be the most feature-rich too.

But again, Toyota does not present a strong case in this scenario, thereby allowing the competitors to step in strong. Yet, when you look at the Yaris individually, without comparing it with any other, it does manage to justify the price tag pretty well.
