Rolls-Royce Launched Black Badge Cullinan Daisy Inspired by Client’s Hiking Trail

Abu Dhabi : The one-off variant is crafted specifically for the buyer, who is a hiking and outdoor enthusiast, as well as an avid luxury car collector.

• The exterior of the Cullinan Daisy comes finished in Powder Blue color, a darker Black Badge Pantheon grille, and a Recreation Module.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has revealed its newest custom creation, the Black Badge Cullinan Daisy. This unique, one-of-a-kind Black Badge Cullinan Series II was made for a client who loves hiking and spending time outdoors. 

A field of daisies inspired the design along the client's favorite trail in the High Tatras mountains in Slovakia. The Black Badge Cullinan Daisy stands for toughness and perseverance, much like how daisies grow in different conditions.

The client who ordered this car built their success in the outdoor and adventure gear industry. For them, the vehicle represents their journey to achieve their goals. The special details and thoughtful design reflect their connection to nature and their passion for exploring the outdoors.

Exterior Excellence

The daisy pattern is a Coachline design that is carefully hand-painted. It works together with the single Coachline on the Powder Blue exterior. The soft colors create a strong contrast with the darker Black Badge Pantheon Grille, Spirit of Ecstasy, and the bright parts of the exterior.

The Cullinan has a special "Recreation Module" at the back. The module is automatically deployable and designed to hold the owner’s hiking gear easily.

Interiors – Adding Depth and Richness

Inside, the design features a daisy pattern on the front area and the waterfall section located between the rear seats. This pattern is carefully applied to the surface of the Blackwood via the sandblasting method. 

During the process, a fine stream of mineral particles lightly sands away tiny layers of the wood, creating a detailed design. As light hits the textured surface, shadows and highlights form a three-dimensional look that makes the design stand out.

Further, the Blackwood veneer is paired with a soft interior color scheme. The main leather color is Fleet Blue, which is used on the Rotary Controls and on the B and C pillars. This is accented with Selby Grey and Black leather. 

The seat piping is adorned in Fleet Blue, while Selby Grey is used for contrast stitching, complemented by headrest monograms. The overall finishing is completed with custom illuminated treadplates that display the daisy pattern.

The daisy theme also decorates the inside of the special umbrellas stored behind Cullinan’s rear Coach Doors. This fun pattern is only visible from inside the umbrellas. It creates an image of a field of daisies in full bloom, even on a rainy day.

Tailor-Made Starlight Headliner

The Black Badge Cullinan Daisy features a custom Starlight Headliner that shows four big constellations seen in the northern night sky. These include Ursa Major, also called the Great Bear, the Big Dipper, and the Plough. 

Ursa Minor, which contains Polaris, the North Star, is also displayed. The constellation Gemini is visible, marked by its bright stars Castor and Pollux. Lastly, Taurus, the Bull, is shown with its red giant Aldebaran and the Pleiades star cluster.
