Renault reveals Grand Koleos SUV

ABU DHABI: Renault has unveiled the new Grand Koleos in South Korea at the 2024 Busan Motor Show. The latest Koleos is based on Geely’s Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform and comes with a hybrid configuration featuring dual motors. 

The new Grand Koleos gets unique cosmetic updates, such as exclusive alloy wheel designs, a sleek frameless grille, and specific enhancements to both the rear and front bumpers. These changes give the new Grand Koleos a fresh look. However, it shares many of the underlying sheet metal with the Geely Xingyue L.

Inside the Grand Koleos is equipped with intuitive technology and comfort features. The cabin is equipped with three 12.3-inch screens: one functions as the instrument panel, the second one as the entertainment center, and a third screen for the comfort of the front passenger, offering information access and personalized controls.

The all-new Grand Koleos is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine mated with a twin-motor hybrid setup. Together this setup produces a total output of 245 horsepower. This configuration ensures optimum power, reduces emissions, and enhances fuel efficiency, aligning with modern automotive trends towards performance and sustainability.

With the introduction of the all-new Grand Koleos, Renault aims to expand its market presence and captivate the attention of consumers in the competitive SUV segment. This launch signifies the proactive approach of the automaker in revitalizing its product portfolio.

In the UAE, the Renault Koleos is available in the following variants - PE, SE, and LE.
