Bentayga Bentayga Mulliner Pearl of the Gulf edition revealed in the UAE

ABU DHABI: To celebrate of the centuries old pearl diving industry in the Arabian Gulf, luxury car maker Bentley has revealed a limited edition Mulliner Pearl of the Gulf edition. This model was originally commissioned by a customer in the Middle East, and only five units will be built.

This gorgeous beauty will be handcrafted by Bentley’s Mulliner coachbuilding division and will feature a bespoke interior design. What does this entail? You get a Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus dashboard with a dhow boat scene, this would have once been a common scene to the pearl divers on the Gulf waters. What’s even more enticing is that the dhow is inlaid with Mother of Pearl. To further exude the colors of the Pearl, the entire cabin has contrast brown and grey stitching with some gold embroidery. For the seats, you get linen-colored leather with a complimenting Brunel grey trim (found on the top of the dashboard and edge of the steering wheel). Exterior changes include Mulliner Pearl badging on the D-pillars, two-tone alloy wheels, and unique exterior color.

An ultra-rare car like this needs something special, so what you get is a unique storage compartment with fingerprint access. This allows you to keep your valuables secure at all times and adds an extra layer of security.

Even though the interior modifications have been carried out by Mulliner, the engine under the hood and onboard technology remain the same as the regular Bentayga. This means you still get things like the panoramic sunroof and 8-inch infotainment system. Engine duties are carried out by the 6-litre W12 unit, producing 600 bhp. Performance numbers include a 0-100 kmph time of 4 seconds with a top speed of 301 kmph.

Unfortunately, Bentley has not disclosed the price for this Mulliner Pearl of the Gulf edition but rest assured that it will cost a pretty penny more than the standard Bentayga.
