2026 GAC GS8 Hybrid and Traveller Debut with Strong Features and Value

Abu Dhabi : The Traveller variants come with off-road styling, has chrome details, a rear utility box, and they tested on a custom off-road course in Dubai.

Gargash Motors has launched the 2026 GAC GS8 range in the UAE. They have added Hybrid and Traveller variants, with standout tech, off-road ability, and strong value in all three trims. The 2026 GAC GS8 is now available in:

All the variants have the same 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, and that helps produce 248 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The Hybrid uses GAC’s 2.0TM Mega Wave THS system, which delivers the same power while it improves the consumption fuel.

Drive modes include ECO, Sport, Comfort, and Off-Road. With these, the GS8 easily adapt to city roads or rugged terrain, which suits the UAE market well.

Design That Blends Rugged and Premium

The GS8 gets a bold, refreshed look with:

• A large front grille.
• 20-inch alloy wheels.
• LED lighting.

The Traveller model adds:

• Upgrades on off-road-ready exterior.
• Chrome detailing.
• A rear utility box that is functional.

Comfort and tech features are top priorities on the inside. The seven-seat layout supports a premium experience, with highlights like tri-zone climate control, massage front seats that are ventilated (Hybrid only), ambient lighting, fragrance diffuser, wireless charging, and Alpine sound system.

Modern Dashboard and Connectivity

A 14.6-inch HD touchscreen is what dominates the interior. What backs this is a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, as usual.

Options for interior color include Camel, White, and Black. Exterior colours are Black, White, Dark Green, Silver, and Grey.

Each model has a 10-year warranty and that adds confidence and value to the ownership experience.
