2024 Lexus ES arrives in the US with improved technology package

ABU DHABI: Lexus’s top-selling sedan, the ES, has received minor changes for the model year 2024. It boasts new wheels and a new Technology Package, and the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 as a standard fitment. 

The standard ADAS pack includes various safety features such as a left turn, oncoming vehicle detection, and braking, pedestrian detection with a pre-collision warning system, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, lane tracing assist, and others. 

The new Technology Package is available for all Base, Luxury, F SPORT Handling, and F SPORT Design trims. It comprises a Head-Up Display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Lexus Interface, and SmartAccess Card Key. 

Another noteworthy change for the model year 2024 is an 18-inch wheel design that comes as a standard fitment on the Ultra Luxury trim level. The new alloys will also be available as an option for the Luxury trim. The lower trims will have a 17-inch wheel design. 

The new Lexus ES comes with three different powerful engines paired with an all-wheel drive capability and CVT gearbox. These include – 

• 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 203 hp
• 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V6 petrol mill 
• 2.5-litre inline-four Atkinson-cycle petrol-hybrid system

The all-new 2024 Lexus ES will be available in US dealerships in the summer of 2023. It will be priced between USD 43,190 (approx. AED 158616.571) to USD 53,480 (approx AED 196406.904).

The Lexus ES250 is being offered in the UAE in four variants- Premium, Prestige, Platinum, and F Sport from AED 215,000 to AED 255,000.
