Not recommended; my new X-Trail got an issue with the engine when driven 70k and fully serviced by the agent. It needs to replace the head gas kit. Service-wise also very bad.

The Nissan X-Trail has been with me for more than 6 months now and it's serving me well. It provides ample space for all of us and all our baggage, and weekend excursions are easy and convenient. The ride is smooth, and the vehicle has good handling on highways and urban roads. The touchscreen and the controls are user-friendly, and the safety features put me at ease. It's not powerful, but it's comfy and reliable, which are what I prefer for family driving. X-Trail is a sensible option if you're looking for a comfortable and easy-to-drive SUV for daily use.

The Nissan X-Trail apart from design, interior and look is a good SUV that offers very good overall performance. A robust powertrain with the refined 2.5-liter engine, high 188hp of power and 244 Nm of impressive torque make you drive with breeze and very well handling with effortless CVT transmission. Good part is the SUV is available in ]2WD and AWD configurations, catering to diverse driving needs, especially, we want fun driving. Good acceleration, high top speed and reasonably good mileage makes the X-Trail practical choice for both urban commutes and long-distance adventures in the UAE.

The X Trail SUV from the Nissan is actually very underrated but well-equipped and perfectly all-rounder. It blends well the performance, comfort, and also latest features too. The X Trial’s 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine is quite proven in UAE, producing solid 161hp of power, well tuned to the CVT and comes with standard front-wheel drive. Similarly, another USP of this SUV is the spacious interior, with seating for up to 7 passengers, and the features like a large panoramic sunroof and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto makes it very functional in today’s connectivity point of view.

Without offending anyone, I consider the X Trail below average SUV in the segment. And, this is such an example that indicates how Nissan is poorly spread in terms of its product strategy, they desperately need to upgrade their dated cars, X Trail being one among them. Nothing great to offer, same old design, the powertrain isn’t that exciting and feature wise, they are not matched to the Koreans, in the same price segment. Given the customer preference and choices products like X Trail will find it hard to gain market share.
