Jetour X70 Plus

The Jetour X70 Plus has a luxurious-looking cabin with dual-tone black and burgundy leather upholstery. It not only looks good and is very premium but is also packed with lots of comfort and convenience features. The well-appointed cabin of the Jetour X70 Plus is high on space and comfort, too, with great room for five passengers. 

The Jetour X70 Plus has a fresh-looking flat-bottom multi-functional steering wheel with satin silver spokes, which has a wide full-TFT cockpit behind it. Stretching to the centre console, this cockpit houses 10.25-inch screens for the instrument console and a touchscreen infotainment system. The middle layer of the dashboard is finished in rich-quality soft-touch leather with satin silver surrounds while also having octagonal AC vents – one each on the corners of the dashboard and three in the middle of the centre console. 

The lower centre console here has a slanted touchscreen for the automatic climate control buttons and a horizontal panel for the stubby transmission lever, electronic parking brake, drive mode controller and wireless charging pad. The other noteworthy features of the Jetour X70 Plus include a panoramic sunroof, power front seats, ambient lighting, heated front seats, an 8-speaker audio system, rear AC vents and more.

Starting with the exterior, the Jetour X70 Plus impresses with the urban appeal it carries in its design on the outside. There are several eye-catching details and chrome elements all around the exterior of the Jetour X70 Plus, which makes it stand out from the crowd of midsize SUVs, thus having its distinctive appeal.

At the front, the slightly slanted bonnet of the Jetour X70 Plus flows towards the bold-looking grille, which has an octagonal design and chrome-finished horizontal slats and surrounds. This octagonal grille also has a chrome garnish at the top, which stretches over the middle of the curved headlamp clusters. The Jetour X70 Plus has an all-LED arrangement for the headlamps, with them also getting daytime running LEDs within them. The corners of the front bumper have a slim, vertical arrangement for the fog lamps, which have chrome accents to their outer sides.

The Jetour X70 Plus looks imposing and eye-catching from the side, too. The SUV has a set of 20-inch machined alloy wheels and a chrome finish for the side body cladding at the bottom of the door panels. More chrome can be seen in the form of surrounds for the window panels, inserts for the rearview mirrors, and fender garnish. The rounded wheel arches with body cladding and a sharp character line flowing over the door panels in a slanted manner complete the side profile of the Jetour X70 Plus.

At the back, the Jetour X70 Plus has a raked windscreen with a curved lower edge and a sporty-looking roof spoiler with an integrated LED brake light. The SUV has LED combination tail lights, which have segmented LED inserts and wraparound LED lights that merge with the connected LED light bar running across the width of the boot lid. The rear bumper also uses chrome over the rear diffuser, and it also gets dual exhaust ports at either end.

The Jetour X70 Plus also shares its platform with the X90 Plus SUV and comes with a similar suspension setup at both ends – Macpherson struts at the front and multi-link at the rear. The three drive modes on offer – Normal, Eco, and Sport – offer personalized driving experiences depending on the driver's preference. 

The Jetour X70 Plus is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which happens to be the only engine option for the SUV. Shared with the Jetour Dashing, this turbo-petrol engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and produces 197 PS of maximum power and 290 Nm of maximum torque. 

The basic safety features offered in the Jetour X70 Plus include six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system, vehicle stability control, traction control, hill start assist, hill descent control and 360-degree parking camera. The Jetour X90 Plus also has a comprehensive suite of ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, intelligent high light assist, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and digital audio broadcasting.
