Toyota Land Cruiser celebrates 10th victory with special edition

ABU DHABI: Toyota is celebrating 10 consecutive victories in the production car category of the Dakar Rally by launching the Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition, which will be sold exclusively in the United Arab Emirates. This special edition is based on the LC J300 and enhances the existing Black Edition, adding a unique touch to the SUV range.

The 10th Victory Edition retains important features from the Black Edition like the skid plate, black-finished grille, and mud flaps. It adds its own touch with custom grey and black decals along the sides, paying tribute to the motorsports heritage of the Land Cruiser. It also comes with dark accents and 18-inch black alloy wheels, while subtle updates include towing hooks in red finish at the front, enhancing its unique appeal.

The Toyota Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition comes with a 3.5-litre petrol V6 engine producing around 409bhp. A 10-speed automatic gearbox transmits power to all four wheels along with an advanced 4WD system, ensuring outstanding off-road control and performance.

The 10th Victory Edition is priced at AED 319,900 in the UAE, which is lower compared to the GR Sport, the flagship Land Cruiser variant, priced at $112,415. By offering the special edition model at a lower price, Toyota aims to make the celebration of its Dakar Rally victories accessible to a wider audience while still providing exceptional performance and exclusive features.

With special enhancements and exclusive features, the 10th Victory Edition promises to captivate collectors and enthusiasts, marking a milestone in the illustrious history of Toyota when it comes to off-roading dominance.
