MINI states the new Cooper's exterior is defined by "charismatic simplicity," where clean surfaces meet functional aerodynamic purpose.

MINI has pared back the electric Cooper's design. Surfaces are clean and flush. The look is sleeker than before, but the cleanup also has a function: a fully closed underbody and a sealed front grille cut drag and stretch the driving range. Recycled materials reach beyond the cabin. The light alloy wheels use up to 70% secondary aluminium, drawn from recycled scrap. MINI says the process cuts roughly 90% of the energy needed versus primary aluminium, trimming the car's carbon footprint before it rolls. On safety, the electric Cooper gets Dynamic Cruise Control as standard. Buyers can step up to Active Cruise Control and a Lane Change Warning system. At the back, a collision detection system fires the hazard lights to warn following traffic.
