Hyundai Motor Company has confirmed that it will premiere its new high-performance electric sports sedan, the IONIQ 6 N, at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The launch, which is slated for July 10 at 12:30 BST, will mark a pivotal step for Hyundai’s N brand as it brings premium EV performance technology to the global stage.

Performance Reimagined for the EV Era

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 N introduces a lot of innovations, like a fully redesigned suspension geometry, so as to deliver precise handling and an immersive driving experience.

The car, by capitalising on its low-slung sedan profile, benefits from a lowered roll center and an extended caster trail to help enhance precision of steering, on-centre feedback and self-centring.

It has electronically controlled stroke sensing dampers to help complement the chassis upgrades, which offers real-time response. All these features help create a sedan that will give drivers confidence on the road or racetrack.

The teaser video revealed the dramatic stance of the IONIQ 6 N. The main styling details are flared fenders, lightweight wheels, and a prominent motorsport-style swan-neck rear spoiler, which all contribute to improved downforce and stability during high speed.

This visual language reflects refinement of extensive aerodynamic and performance engineering.

Hyundai debuts its ‘N Ambient Shift Light’ inside the cabin, which is a visual cue that signals optimal shift points during acceleration so as to enhance the sensation of gear changes through its motorsport-inspired e-shift system.

Interactive Public Debut at Goodwood

The IONIQ 6 N will appear publicly at Goodwood alongside the range of Hyundai’s full performance vehicle. The Hyundai N booth will host race simulators, photo booths, and interactive displays. Visitors who complete booth activities will be able to access an exclusive N grandstand overlooking the iconic hill climb.
