Chevrolet has added two future-ready electrified models to its popular Captiva lineup in the Middle East. The launch of the Captiva Electric Vehicle (EV) and the Captiva Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) is a significant step towards expanding its reach in the region. 

The move underscores the brand’s commitment to bringing accessible and sustainable mobility to the region. It builds on the Captiva’s strong reputation as a family-friendly and value-packed SUV.

Both the Captiva EV and PHEV come with a refreshed styling. The Chevrolet Captiva exterior dimensions are now longer and wider than its predecessors, delivering a more dynamic stance. The things that differentiate the two are the dual-tone body color and the black roof. 

The 2026 Chevrolet Captiva exterior features a revised front and rear profile. It comes with LED auto headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and sharp rear LED taillamps to enhance its premium appeal.

Color options include Galaxy White, Laser Grey, Shadow Golden, Dawn Blue, Khaki Green, and Red Metallic. The electric model stands out further with its two-tone roof option.

Premium Cabin

The Chevrolet Captiva interior offers a five-seat layout, up to 532 liters of cargo space, and leatherette upholstery available in black or beige. The dashboard features modern finishes and a premium touch, while buyers can choose between LT and Premier trims.

Chevrolet has equipped the new Captiva variants with cutting-edge infotainment and driver-assistance technologies.

The Captiva PHEV bridges the gap between conventional and fully electric driving. It combines a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 20.5-kWh battery. The total output stands at 201 hp with an impressive range of up to 1,000 km (NEDC).

The SUV offers three drive modes: EV, HEV, and EV MAX. It also comes with four performance settings (ECO, ECO+, Standard, Sport) to optimise efficiency and performance.

Charging is flexible, with support for Level 1, Level 2 (3.3 kW), and DC fast-charging up to 24 kW.
