Interior and Cabin Comfort

The MG 5's cabin scales by trim: fabric seats on the base grade, PU leather higher up, a 6-way electric driver's seat on the top grade, rear air vents, a PM2.5 filter and a 406-litre boot.

Chery's website also lists a panoramic sunroof, massage seats and a head-up display, but the brochure's AED 55,000 Comfort version doesn't include them, so confirm your trim with the dealer.

Infotainment and Technology

The Arrizo 5 comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, a 3.5-inch cluster display, 4 speakers and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The MG 5 goes bigger on screen size, with a 10.25-inch centre display, plus a 3.5-inch cluster on the lower trims that jumps to a full 12.3-inch digital instrument panel on the top grade, along with 6 speakers and wireless charging at the top end. Its CarPlay and Android Auto connection is wired.

Go for the Arrizo 5 if you want the slightly stronger engine, leather seating and a lower entry price for a well-rounded daily sedan. Pick the MG 5 if a bigger touchscreen, a five-star C-NCAP rating and the option of a digital cluster, 360° camera and sunroof on the top trim matter more to you.
