Audi Launches Powerful A6 Plug-In Hybrid Models in Two Versions

Audi expands its hybrid portfolio with new A6 Sedan and Avant e-hybrid quattro models. It offers up to 106 km electric range and powerful system outputs of 220 kW and 270 kW.

Two Strong Hybrid Options

Audi has introduced two plug-in hybrid variants of the A6—Sedan and Avant—each available in two output levels:

• 220 kW (0–100 km/h in 6.0 sec).
• 270 kW (0–100 km/h in 5.3 sec).

Both versions are powered by a 2.0 TFSI petrol engine and a 105 kW electric motor. The top models come with sport suspension, S line kit, 19-inch wheels, and red brake calipers for a bolder look.

Bigger Battery, Longer Electric Range

A major highlight is the new 25.9 kWh (net 20.7 kWh) high-voltage battery, about 45% more capacity than the previous model. This enables a pure electric range of up to 106 km, ideal for short daily commutes in the UAE.

Charging & Efficiency

• AC charging: up to 11 kW.
• Full charge time: 2.5 hours.
• Regenerative braking with 3 levels, adjustable via steering paddles.

Smart Hybrid Tech and Drive Modes

The A6 hybrids use Audi’s intelligent hybrid management system with two main drive modes:

• EV mode: Runs fully on electric power.
• Hybrid mode: Balances electric and petrol power to save charge for later.

The system uses navigation-based route data to optimize energy use and can even recover power without active route guidance.

Audi Quattro with All-Wheel Steering

For enhanced control and stability, both models come with:

• Quattro ultra all-wheel drive.
• Standard all-wheel steering.
• Dual-clutch transmission.

These help the car stay agile at low speeds and stable at high speeds—perfect for UAE highways.

Audi also improved cabin acoustics with better window and door sealing, cutting noise by up to 30% for a quieter drive.
