2024 BMW X5 and X6 to make global debut next month

ABU DHABI: BMW has unveiled the upgraded versions of the X5 and X6. In the latest forms, the mid-size SUV and its coupe-like sibling boast a new design, the latest technology, and new powertrains. The official reveal of the 2024 X5 and X6 will be held in March at the Amelia Concours d'Elegance in Florida, USA.

In terms of styling, the SUV gets a redesigned kidney grille design and distinctive BMW headlamps. Adding to the revised front fascia are new headlight modules that have 35-millimetre smaller outlines. Vertical air curtains installed along the edges of the 2024 BMW X5 emphasise its width, while the lower air intake features a new horizontal trim detail and triangular holes along its margins. The 2024 BMW X5 has redesigned rear lights with eye-catching fibre-optic light element shapes.

The BMW X6, on the other hand, was a market innovator in the Sports Activity Coupe category and continues to be a dominant force in its third generation. Sharp contour lines and a long, arching roofline work together to give the sense that the building is dynamically extended.

The BMW X6 of 2024 sports thin headlight modules with arrow-shaped daytime running lights, just like the BMW X5. The 2024 BMW X6's dynamic nature is further emphasised by the now-standard M Sport package, which is distinguished by an octagonal design element below the BMW kidney grille, large side apertures, and a liberal application of black surfaces.

The 2024 BMW X6's athleticism is further emphasised by the M High-gloss Shadowline trim and M Side Skirts. At the rear, a strong design is readily created from the chiselled shoulder lines and the taut surface of the flanks. The L-shaped brake light and rear light bars, along with the slender tail lights that extend into the tailgate, give this vehicle its distinctive lighting appearance.

The 20-inch wheels and all-season run-flat tyres that come standard on the 2024 BMW X5 and 2024 BMW X6 are manufactured by BMW. 

The fully digital BMW Curved Display is the centrepiece of the interiors of the 2024 BMW X5 and 2024 BMW X6 vehicles. It consists of a 14.9-inch control panel and a 12.3-inch information display that is both hidden behind a single piece of glass behind the steering wheel. The number of buttons and controls on the BMW control display has been drastically decreased in favour of digital control for a number of purposes.

At the BMW Group Plant in South Carolina, production of the 2024 BMW X5 and 2024 BMW X6 will get underway in April.

The price range for the 2024 BMW X5 is $65,200 to $89,300 (about AED 239,482 to AED 328002), while the price range for the 2024 BMW X6 is $73,900 to $93,600. (approximately AED 271,437 to AED 343,796).
