Renault Megane RS 1.8L Trophy

As a driving enthusiast, I love my Megane-RS. It features a robust engine and excellent control for the curves, making it a great option when on challenging terrain. Wearing a pretty muscular like a sport utility vehicle, the vehicle also has a very well-endowed interior that gives it the desirability of a car that is perfectly tailored for the automotive enthusiast. It has a pretty funny-looking design, or at least that is what I can infer from the image. Still, its engine is supercharged and can push out about 420 Nm and 300 Hp and can do 200KmpH and much more without any problem. It also offers rear AC vents, which makes it suitable for an owner like me who wants to have the best of both the family and sports world.

I am sure many of you get excited at the idea of owning hot hatches these days. In fact I was also planning to buy one for long and finally could afford to buy this particular edition from Renault that is available with front wheel drive. Though, before you rush for it I would add that keep certain aspect into serious consideration if you plan to drive this via twisty roads. This model can stand out for being wonderfully equipped. Its standard agile handling is another factor that deserves applauds. The model will also stun its buyers with the punchy engine quality.

Renault Megane RS is an excellent hot hatch to drive.  Equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol engine, it takes 6 seconds to sprint to 60 mph. It commands attention wherever I take it. It is very thrilling to drive and comes with driver-focused ergonomics. The cabin is very luxurious and gives a high-end feel. It has precise steering and is very responsive, enhancing your driving experience. It feels nimble and balanced at any speed. It is more reasonably priced than many of its competitors and comes with some of the best safety features.

If you want a performance hatchback in the UAE at a great price, I would recommend the Renault Megane RS to everyone. I have been driving it for a year now, and it is undoubtedly one of the best 5-seater hatchbacks out in the market right now. The car looks super attractive and bold with a sleek, sporty and sharp design theme complemented by the absolutely mind-blowing performance of the car. The 1.8L turbocharged engine is an absolute beast when it comes to power delivery and makes for a thrilling and enjoyable driving experience.

The RS was launched as a sportier version of the popular hatchback, the Megane GT. The RS does get some new features that differentiate it from its sibling. It’s the F1 inspired design language of this hatchback which was the first thing I liked about the RS while purchasing it. I have been a proud owner of the RS for the past few weeks and I can surely say that it is a wonderful car to drive every day. Wherever I take, the RS does make atleast a few heads turn in its appreciation. The sporty and modern design of the RS is bound to make anyone fall for it. At its heart, the RS gets a powerful 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that produces an enormous power output of 280hp and torque of 390Nm of torque. I can easily cross the 0-100 kmph mark in under 6 seconds and reach top-speed of over 230kmph.

While buying a new car, I was confused between two Renault cars - the Megane GT and the Megane RS. However, in the end, I opted for the later model. Well, one of the many reasons where is F1 inspired design language, it just hooked me, and I couldn’t let go of it. Plus, it’s more powerful, broader, and sits lower than the GT model. Though a little higher on the price front, it has so much more to offer as well. On top of mind are features like the Alcantara steering wheel, 8.7-inch touch display, R-LINK multimedia system, and 8-speaker Bose speaker system. Plus the MULTI-SENSE tech along with the RS button has made driving so much easier and fun.
