Uni-T offers a much better driving experience than the other Changan models. The transmission, engine, and suspension have been refined and upgraded over the standard nameplates of the CS family. The transmission is well-tuned, and the steering is light. The chassis remains composed and stiff during cornering. The car holds its line well and performs quite well during spirited drives. 

The wheels offer a good amount of feedback, and the frame is much better than Changan's other offerings, with more confidence and less wallowing. Overall, Uni-T is a decent performer at any speed. Despite the huge dimensions of this crossover, its handling is surprisingly fun and competent.
