Lister LFT-C breaks cover, only 10 units up for sale

ABU DHABI: One of the most underrated brands among the car manufacturers, Lister has taken the wraps off its all-new sports car, LFT-C, which is the convertible version of limited edition LFT-666 Coupe introduced in 2018. The unveiling has been done at its headquarter in Lancashire. Just like the F-Type R, the carmaker continues to its trademark of making the highly limited edition supercars by providing only 10 units of the latest LFT-C globally.

3The LFT-C shares its engine with Jaguar F-Type’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 mill, however, the tuning is a bit different. The LFT-C is capable of pushing out nearly 675 hp of power, while the F-Type provides around 550 hp. It reaches from 0 to 100 kmph in just over three seconds and can reach to a top speed is 330 kmph. It makes the LFT-C the fastest open-top Lister ever.

The new sports car will come with bespoke carbon-fibre body panels along with new radiator grille design. The front splitter, front bumper, rear lip spoiler, rear diffuser etc. have been revamped. The wheel arches are now extended and the aerodynamic efficiency has been improved.

Lawrence Whittaker, CEO of Lister said, “The LFT-666 has been a huge success for Lister, with cars being delivered around the world. Many customers asked for an open version and, as a result, we created the LFT-C. The noise of the 675-hp Lister-tuned V8 is incredible with the roof down and the styling adds real aggression to the looks.”

The limited 10 units will be sold for a starting price tag of £139,000 (AED 645,285). The manufacturer has started taking orders and the buyers can customize the car as per their needs. The car comes with a warranty of seven years.
