Jetour G700 TopFire Unveiled: Factory-Customized SUV Built for Serious Off-Road Terrain

Jetour has introduced the G700 TopFire. This version is a hardcore, factory-customised SUV that’s purpose built for your overlanding adventures and tackling the worst terrains. It blends rugged mechanical capability, a modern PHEV drivetrain and plush interiors into a capable package.

With the TopFire, Jetour gives the G700’s bold design a thorough, expedition-ready overhaul. You’ll instantly notice the raised ride height, the decals on the side and the visual tweaks that are exclusive to the TopFire. Upfront, the ventilated hood and the wider grille (redesigned to improve cooling performance) grab attention. The wide fender flares, alloy side steps and off-road bumpers are just as functional as aesthetic. 

It also gets wide 305/55 R20 all-terrain tyres, paired with custom forged alloy wheels made out of aerospace grade material.

The G700 TopFire is built on a high-strength steel integrated ladder frame off-road chassis. With a 55.6mm increase in body height and a 94mm wider track, this SUV is built to take on the toughest terrains. Approach, departure, and breakover angles stand at 35°, 29° and 23° respectively. Water wading capability is rated at an impressive 950mm, which should ensure peace of mind when traversing waterlogged areas. 

Another highlight is the 8-step adjustable K-Man nitrogen shock absorbers, that are designed specifically to absorb heavy impacts while ensuring optimum thermal management while off-roading.

Step inside the TopFire, and you’re greeted by a cabin that’s luxurious, comfortable and loaded with features. Jetour has been generous in its use of soft-touch materials and leather upholstery that gives the cabin an upmarket vibe. The cabin is centred around a massive 35.4-inch panoramic digital display, and a large central touchscreen. Feature highlights include wireless charging, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, powered seats and three-zone climate control.

Safety is managed by an advanced L2 driving assistance suite that includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, blind spot detection and traffic jam assist. It further features front and rear parking sensors, 360° camera and hill descent control.

Powering the G700 TopFire is a 2.0-litre, turbocharged gasoline engine paired with dual electric motors. With a massive 904PS and 1135Nm on tap, the TopFire has more than enough power to tackle any terrain. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain sends power to all four wheels via an intelligent electric all-wheel drive system that provides immediate torque response and smooth power delivery.
