Discovery has enhanced its compact SUV range with dynamic looks and higher specifications, including two new editions: Metropolitan and Landmark. The Dynamic S is visually enhanced, featuring new alloy wheels and curated option packs.

Discovery Sport Metropolitan Key Highlights

The Discovery Sport Metropolitan stands out with Atlas Silver lettering on its bonnet and tailgate, a striking front grille with silver foil and branded treadplates. It further gets Indus Silver adorned front and rear undershields. It rides on 20-inch diamond-turned alloy wheels, which can also come in a Gloss Black finish. 

Inside, it features premium Windsor Leather seats that are both heated and cooled, with 14-way electric adjustments. The cabin is packed with comfort options, including a powerful 14-speaker Meridian surround sound system and a Clearsight rearview mirror that offers a better view, even with many passengers. 

Cabin Air Purification Plus helps keep the air fresh, making every journey more relaxing.

Discovery Sport Landmark Key Highlights

The Discovery Sport Landmark features the mountain range logo from the original 1989 Discovery, now on aluminium treadplates and illuminated when unlocking the vehicle at night. Additionally, puddle lights are projected from the exterior of the door mirrors.

This special edition highlights the vehicle’s versatility, with a large panoramic roof and sliding and reclining seats in the second row. Family-friendly features include media holders for entertainment and a Surround View Camera to help with parking. Roof rails add even more practicality, making the Discovery Sport Landmark a mix of style and utility.

Dynamic S Key Highlights

The Dynamic S version gives every Discovery Sport a bold and purposeful look. It features Gloss Black accents on the lower sides and Discovery script, along with a Gloss Black grille, wheel arches, lower bumpers, and front claw details. These touches help it stand out and look confident on the road.

Inside, a digital instrument cluster and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters come standard across the range. The centre console is a sleek 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen floating above the dashboard.

The newest Pivi Pro infotainment system has sidebars that stay open all the time. These quick-access menus make it easy to control key features like media, volume, climate, and navigation. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come included, ensuring you stay connected with ease.

Discovery Sport has introduced new accessory packs for Beach Days, Road Trip, and Snow Days, allowing families to customize their vehicles for various lifestyles. The Beach Days pack features a cooler, sunshades, and a collapsible organiser for beach trips. The Road Trip package includes cross bars, media holders, and a roof box for long-distance trips.

Efficient Engines

The Land Rover Discovery Sport offers plug-in electric hybrid and mild hybrid electric propulsion options, delivering responsive performance. The electric hybrid can cover up to 90% of daily journeys and complete a 0-80% charge in 30 minutes. Ingenium petrol and diesel also come with advanced mild hybrid electric technology and a 48-volt system.

The Discovery Sport price in the UK starts from £45,440 OTR. The new editions are likely to be available in Middle Eastern markets, including the UAE.
